We are having so much fun here in New port Beach with my family! Me, Ashley, Gracie, Dad, Mom, Matt and Erika left Saturday morning at 5 am. Between AF and Baker, CA we stopped about 10 times, mostly for Ashley to go to the bathroom. I've never known her to pee and poop as much as she did on our drive. Bad timing! But other than that, they were both soooo good! I'm surprised at how good the were for the 11 hour drive! We went to Newport Beach at Crystal Cove tonight and it was gorgeous!
Ashley LOVED to beach! She's pretty obsessed with the ocean and ocean life. But poor Gracie was terrified! Everytime the wave would approach, she would start to cry.
So she sat for a while with Grandma and Grandpa. She sat and watched the seagulls, and was much happier!
The boys (austin, Brandon and Matt) were looking for crabs in some of the rock on the beach. Bran caught 2 of them! Yikes!
We'll be going to the beach much more and will have many more pictures to post in the coming week. Stay tuned for pictures from Dodger stadium, Sea World, and more!

Ashley at the beach was so cute! I loved how excited she was...it makes everything so much more fun to have those girls in our family. You forgot to mention her talking to the whales...that was adorable!! I'm stealin those pics since I didn;t have my camera. I love them all & the one of Brandon is so funny! I'm exicted for the rest of the trip! We are going to get the BEST pictures EVER!!!
isn't it funny how different your girls can be? lucy loves the beach too, well she did a few months ago. i'm jealous, i wish i was at the beach. but i'm not jealous of the long car ride, lucy HATES riding in the car for more than about 30 minutes. i'm glad your girls did well!
