Saturday in Idaho Falls with the Kiddos

Half way through Ashley and Gracie's month long visit to Idaho, I went and spent the day in Idaho Falls with them . We first went to a little carnival where the girls had so much fun on little rides like a carousel and, like in the video, the airplane ride. But we made one mistake!! I went with them on the Octopus ride like this:
At first the girls were so excited to go on this ride, they had been asking me the entire time for me to go on it with them. I though they might be a little scared with how high up it went, but we loaded our little cart and they were all smiles for the first 30 seconds. After that it all went downhill! Little did I know that the individual carts spin like a Tilt-a-Whirl! So we're going up and down in a circle, while the cart whipped us around spinning back and forth. Even I was scared! Ashely kept screaming, "You have to get me off this thing!" She was so scared! And Gracie was scared speechless. She sat like a statue next to me. Once I hear her say quietly, "This is scary." So I was trying to calm them down and also trying to yell at the ride operators to let us off (we were the only people on the whole ride), but of course they couldn't hear me. Finally, after way too long, the ride stopped and we all exited and the ride operator asked Ashley, "Did you have fun?" and She pointed her finger at him and then the ride and said, "I'm NEVER going on that again!" hahaha poor girls. Bad choice by mom!

After our near death experience we went to the Zoo, which was a much better experience! The girls had me pull them around in this wagon up and down all the hills throughout the zoo, sso at least I got my work out in! They had some great animals in there, but my battery in my camera was almost dead so I couldn't snap many pics.

Then we had dinner at a Chuck E Cheese type joint in Idaho Falls, but as you can see, Gracie was done with taking pictures! haha

I'm excited for them to come home this weekend! Hopefully I'll have more to post once they come home and we can go do fun things here in Utah! I'll make sure to charge my battery for my camera, too :)
