SLCC... Here I come!

Well it's official! I'm back in school as of TODAY! And I must say, I already love Salt Lake Community College!! The campus I'm at is beautiful, my teachers are awesome, and so far I like all the students I've talked to. I can tell that at least one of my classes will provide some major information overload, but I'm still looking for ward to learning the human anatomy in much more detail and working in the hospital doing X-rays! I'll have classes 2 days per week and clinicals at the hospital 3 days per week. It'll be tricky to keep up my jobs, kids, and homework - but I'm sure I'll figure it out!

On another note- Ashley did her Kindergarten testing today and apparently did great! She starts classes next week!!! She'll be the cutest little kindergartener EVER!

Wish us luck!!!!

End of Summer 2010

I can't believe it's already August! Less than 2 weeks and school starts
up again, for all 3 of us! We're all very excited :)

Last weekend my sweet Grandma Hansen let me stay in one of her condos for the weekend. My best friend since 6th grade, Tawnya Skidmore Nethercott, got to come with me! Her awesome husband watched her adorable 3 kids while we got some much needed stress relief in sunny St. George. Unfortunately it wasn't that sunny-- in fact in rained on us the entire weekend-
but we still had a great time!!!

This weekend was Alpine Days- which we always love. This year Ashley and

Gracie got to be in the parade with their daycare, Sunshine Daycare,

on this cute little train. It was fun to see them in the parade!

Erika decided to try on the pig mask Bank of American Fork

was handing out, she looks great, huh!?

After the parade, we went to Alpine park for a couple hours. They had a bunch of inflatable toys to play on - Ashley LOVED it! She has so much energy and I love to see her laugh and play.

Gracie liked to take pictures of Ash while she played. Here's Ash in a bounce house and

Gracie called her over, like a little mom, to get a picture of her :)

After a little while, Gracie decided she'd go on the inflatable slide- only if she got to hold Ashley's hand. So Ashley helped her up the stairs and held her hand the whole time and slid down the slide with here. What a good big sister!

After the park, we spent some time at the Highland Splash Pad- if you haven't gone there before you should try it! It's awesome- great for kids and FREE! But later that night the girls got to stay up late to watch the fireworks. They LOVE fireworks and we hadn't seen any together all year.

Ashley took a picture before me and Gracie were ready....

And Gracie took a picture with her finger in the frame, and of course Ashley wasn't looking :)

It's been a great weekend to get my kids back from Idaho!
