Sea World Rocks!
On Wednesday we all went to Sea World in San Deigo. Ashley and I had been looking forward to it all month! Ashley walked around for over a week talking about seeing the orcas and feeding the dolphins. We spent all day there and it was a blast! We started the day feeding the dolphins, then went to the dolphin show. It was probably my favorite part!
The dolphins were amazing! they also had some Pilot Whales in the show. They had a little family volunteer to help with show, and the mom fell in the dolphin pool! Then she started riding the dolphin around the tank! Turns out -- she was actually a dolphin trainer posing as a tourist! It was hilarious! I TOTALLY got fooled!
Ashley and Gracie loved the show. Gracie kept yelling, "WOW!"
Our next stop was the Shamo show, "Believe." It was really cool, too. Austin, Matt, and Brandon sat down in the "Soak Zone" to get splashed by the killer whales. Don't they look tough?!
Austin was awesome with Ashley the whole day. They hung out together and pretended they were Dora and Deigo. It was really cute and really helpful for me.
Ashley was also really excited to see the sharks.
In the arctic part of the park, we saw penguins, beluga whales, and polar bears!
Don't they make cute little penguins?
Dolphins Rock!
One of the best parts of Sea World was feeding the dolphins. We got to pet them and everything! It was a blast! Gracie, of course, was scard - as you'll see in the video - but Ashley loved it! She didn't want to leave!
Take me out to the ball game
My parents are so awesome and took us all to a Dodger game on Tuesday night! Erika's friend, Brandon Vreeland (who lives in Cali) spent the day with us, too. Him and Erika spent the entire 2 hour drive squished in the back with Ashley. We had a rough time getting to the game through the traffic and everything, but once we made it, it was a blast, even though they lost! Thanks Mom and Dad!
We missed you, Matt!
We missed you, Matt!
Huntington Beach
This was my favorite beach so far! There was no seaweed to be seen! The waves were perfect! And we even saw dolphins! They were jumping in and out of the water, only about 30-40 feet away from the shoreline!
Gracie got really brave this trip and even let me put her down for the waves to splash over her legs. It was great! Hopefully next time we'll have even more time to spend in the water with her!
Oh, and Gracie LOVES to eat the sand!
Laguna Beach
On Monday we went to Laguna Beach for the afternoon. Gracie got a lot more brave in the sand. She still didn't enjoy the water, though. Ashley didn't like to get in the water at this beach because there were enormous amounts of seaweed! Lindsay, Andrea, Austin, Brandon and Matt kept getting stuck in the seaweed while trying to body surf. When they got out there was seaweed sticking out of the their swimming suits every which direction! We're having so much fun here! It's perfect weather - about 75 degrees everyday.

Newport Beach, CA
We are having so much fun here in New port Beach with my family! Me, Ashley, Gracie, Dad, Mom, Matt and Erika left Saturday morning at 5 am. Between AF and Baker, CA we stopped about 10 times, mostly for Ashley to go to the bathroom. I've never known her to pee and poop as much as she did on our drive. Bad timing! But other than that, they were both soooo good! I'm surprised at how good the were for the 11 hour drive! We went to Newport Beach at Crystal Cove tonight and it was gorgeous!

The Chocolate Oracle
This is so funny! I love these dumb little quizzes! Here's what my chocolate oracle said about me:
What Your Taste in Chocolate Says About You |
You are sweet, mellow, and easily satisfied. You don't like anything too intense and dramatic. Deep down, you're a kid at heart... and you're nostalgic for the past. You are down to earth and lovable. A true friend, you're very tolerant and understanding. In fact, your friends' biggest problem is that they don't like each other! You love the feeling of accomplishment. You enjoy doing what's important. You feel lost when you have to do frivolous tasks or hang out with shallow people. |
What does your tast in chocolate say about you??

Your Inner Princess
This is pretty funny. I found this test on a friend's blog and decided to see which princess I most resembled. Who would've thought I was a Pocahontas??
Apparently I'm, "Free-spirited and wise. You have a strong passionate spirit that touches and changes all who know you. The wisdom and common sense that you have is really what guides you through life. Even so, you also have a very playful side that loves adventure and excitement.
Which princess are you most like??

We're taking a sick day
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning my sister, Andrea, takes the girls to a from daycare for me while I go to my internship. Well this morning, 5 minutes after they left Andrea called me and said that Ashley was throwing up. Yuck! So we all went back home and all Ashley wants to do is lay down and watch movies. Poor girl! Luckily she knows what that bowl is for!
Summertime . . . and the livin's easy.
Saturday was our first visit to the pool for the year! We had so much fun! Gracie tripped head first into the water about 5 times. And it took Ash about an hour to warm up to the water again. But after that, she was going down the slides and splashing in the water.
We had a lot of fun with Andrea and Lindsay, too!
C-ya next week - same time- same place!
